7 Highs of the Week

Sunday.

Sundays are always chill for me, but this time I woke up early and was able to go to various stores in search of a new journal. Even though I was unable to find any kind of suitable journal, I was able to go grocery shopping at my favorite local store, Food Bazaar.

Monday.

Normally, I like to cook before the week starts, but I was so tired from shopping that I didn't get a chance to prepare for the week. So on Monday night, I made a new recipe, Chicken Florentine Pasta. I learned this recipe from The Pioneer Woman, she's amazing. It was so delicious, and I have enough for the week so I don't have to waste my money on food. #doublewin

Tuesday.

Early morning the next day, I went prop shopping at Trader Joe's for the products that we would be shooting for the week. The subway system was down so I was able to take the ferry to work for the first time. It was such a fun and peaceful experience, I wish I could take the ferry every day.

Wednesday.

I always like it when other projects interrupt the normal routine. It makes each day different and I never know what to expect. I like to go into the day, not knowing what I'm going to do, even though I really do know. I painted three wall colors for an upcoming environmental shoot. I am proud to say that I did not get one spot on my clothes and shoes.

Thursday.

What made this day special was that we were able to take a break from work and indulge in everything avocado. This was my first time eating avocado toast and it was very filling and delicious. I love that we can take breaks from the fast-paced day and connect with the people that I work with.

Friday.

Fridays are always exciting because it means that it will be the start of the weekend soon. The weather was so beautiful, the perfect spring temperature, if I say so myself. I did some prop shopping in the morning and also picked up some repairs from Foto Care. Because the equipment was so heavy, I took a cab back to work which is always a different experience from always taking the train service.

Saturday.

After a late night out the day before, I decided to just take it easy. It rained the entire day, but it was peaceful and I felt extremely relaxed most of the day. Even though, it was wet outside, I decided to take a walk without planning where I would go. I ended up stopping at my favorite local restaurant, Sunrise/Sunset. I enjoyed my orange juice and croissant, not to mention, good conversation with the bartender. It was honestly the perfect way to end my week full of highs.
